Deconstructed Meatball Sub Recipe
This week I spent some time with my good friend. She was putting together something delicious I have her permission to share with you. It’s a deconstructed meatball sub recipe that you are sure to love. It is so delicious and we had an amazing time together. I hope you enjoy it.

Meatball Sub Casserole

Deconstructed Meatball Sub Recipe Ingredients
- 1 tbs basil
- 2 tbs italian seasoning
- 3 Tbs Garlic
- 1 tbs black pepper
- 1 tbs salt
- ½ small onion diced
- 1 Can diced tomatoes
- Puff Pastry
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 1 cup ricotta
- 3 tbs parmesan
- 1 jar traditional Italian meat sauce.
Making the Deconstructed Meatball Sub Recipe

Mix together basil, Italian seasoning, garlic, black pepper and salt.
Dice a small onion. You will use half of the onion in this recipe.

Drain 1 can diced tomatoes.
Add the seasoning mixture, the onions, and the diced tomatoes to a pan with your ground beef.
Brown the ground beef.

While the beef is cooking, spray the pan for your dish and add your puff pastry to the bottom.

When your beef is browned, add the meat mixture to the dish.

One top of the meat mixture pour a thin layer of the italian sauce.
Add one layer of mozarella.
In a separate container, mix together 1 cup of ricotta and 3 tbs of parmesan.
Add this mixture as your next layer.
Dice up remaining puff pastry and sprinkle on top.
