Quilled Pumpkin Craft

Spread the love

This Quilled Pumpkin Craft is the perfect way to usher in the fall! We have been working on fine motor skills to strengthen writing skills. I put together this quilled pumpkin craft that is perfect for kids of any age. Younger ones may need a little more help but it could be so much fun! Even better, it would make a great decoration for a low price.

Easy Pumpkin Craft

If you are looking to have a lot of fun with this project, give kids multiple shades of orange to try and have some fun with it. This craft can be as simple or as complex as you would like it to be. It will depend on the age of your child and the strength of their fine motor skills. Feel free to adjust this easy pumpkin craft to meet the needs of your child.

Quilled Pumpkin Craft Supplies

  • Construction Paper
  • Glue or mod podge
  • scissors
  • small canvas – (we bought ours at the dollar store.)

Make your quilled pumpkin craft

Start by drawing your pumpkin on your canvas.

Cut a strip of orange paper and glue it standing up on your canvas on the outline.

Roll your paper pieces and glue them to the inside.

Fill your pumpkin as full or as empty as you like creatively. The goal is simply to make sure it looks the way you want it to.

After finishing the inside, you will use your brown paper to create your stem.

For the green portion of your stem, roll up the paper and let it unfurl. Then glue it on.
For added texture, add grass to the bottom.

Display and enjoy.
