We have been in a Fall mood around here. It shouldn’t surprise you that I was craving something pumpkin. However, I didn’t want pumpkin pie or my pumpkin pie crock pot cake. I decided to make a fun treat for the kids. This would be great for a Halloween party or a fun fall treat!
Pumpkin Patch Dessert
- Caramel Jell-o pudding
- Betty Crocker Pumpkin Spice Cookie Mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 stick butter
- Small glasses (can do plastic cups for a party)
- Orange icing
- pumpkin cookie cutter
Start by making your cookie dough based on the packaging directions.
Flour your work space and your rolling pin.
Roll your dough out to a 1/4 inch thick.
Using your pumpkin cookie cutter cut our your pumpkin cookies and put them on an un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 11 minutes.
While your cookies are baking make your pudding following the directions on the box. Refrigerate while cookies cook.
Remove cookies from the oven and let cool completely
Then ice your cookies.
Start with a layer of pudding in your cup.
Add crushed cookies.
Then add your iced pumpkin cookie. Go with a smaller cookie cutter based on the fit you are after.
