We received tickets for our family to Monster Jam to facilitate this review. However, all opinions are 100% my own.

This week the kids and I went to Tampa to check out Monster Jam together. It’s always a fun show to spend time at. However, we had to answer a simple question, “Can I enjoy Monster Jam for less?” Because of a scheduling conflict, we ended up sitting in the higher seats. We wanted to see if we could still have a great time while sitting in the less expensive seats!

Take advantage of screens.

One of the harder things about sitting in the higher seats is not getting the close up views of the action. This is where you will want to take advantage of the screens. There will be some great video shared there to help those who are unable to see clearly what has happened.

You get a better overall view!

While you don’t get to be up close for everything, you will get a better overall view of the action. It makes for a more complete view of the show. We actually enjoyed being able to see the entirety of the races and stunts from a higher vantage point.

Bring Binoculars and Ear Plugs

Sound travels and it can get loud. If you are in a closed arena, you may want a pair of quality ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones to help you better enjoy the experience. You may also want to bring binoculars for younger children so they can get an up close view of the show. Another option is to let them zoom in with your phone.

It will still be fun!

Because of the over sized fun of Monster Jam, you are still sure to have a blast! There is just so much going on that is sure to capture the interest of a child whether you are on the very top floor or the very bottom.

Take advantage of coupon codes!

There are often amazing coupon codes that come out for people to enjoy the show for less. Make sure to keep an eye on blogs in your area, as many will share coupon codes they hear about.

Pre-pay for parking.

It can help to pay for parking in advance. Not only will you save money but you will save time. Contact the venue your show will run at and find out how you can prepay for parking to save yourself a great deal.

Pick a favorite and cheer them on!

In order to really make the most of the experience, pick a favorite and cheer them on the entire way thru the show! It will help your kids to be more invested in the experience and focus less on missing out on some other seating options they could have had.
