Harry Potter Movie Night Snacks
Harry Potter movie night snacks are a must! Even better, you don’t have to spend money on some of the traditional snacks. Have all the fun of a Harry Potter movie night with a new twist to your snacks. This will give you the freedom to include healthy options. It also lets you prepare allergy-friendly Harry Potter snacks! Check out these easy Harry Potter movie night snacks!

Because we are a food allergy family, some of these recipes will include a food allergy-friendly option for most of the recipes. Not all of these will be allergy-friendly. Please read the recipe to confirm it will work for your family.

Harry Potter Wand Fruit Kabobs
These fruit kabobs are an easy way to add in some healthier foods to your movie night. You can adjust the recipe to accommodate food allergies as well. Even better, you can find a large variety of modifications depending on your favorite fruits. Add a bit of theming by calling them Harry Potter Wands! You can even use sprinkles to add a little magic!

Harry Potter Wand Dessert Recipe
- Strawberries
- Blackberries
- Bananas
- Blueberries
- Allergen-free chocolate chips or non-allergen-free almond bark (Choose both if you want to accommodate food allergies.)
- Gold Dusted Sprinkle Pack
- Kabob sticks

Start by washing all berries.
Dice strawberries and bananas. – I recommend dicing them in larger rings so they are easy to layer on your kabob sticks.

Layer your fruit on the kabob stick in any order you want. You can color-code them or you can just put them on in whatever order you like.

Lay your finished kabobs on a cookie sheet or on a sheet of parchment paper.
In a double boiler melt chocolate or almond bark. (If you are preparing with food allergies in mind, make sure to keep the two separate.)


Drizzle your kabob with melted chocolate or almond bark.


Sprinkle with glitter while still wet. Place in a freezer for fifteen minutes to harden the chocolate.
Store in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it.

Butterbeer Cauldron Floats
These are a sweet favorite. These are not friendly to a dairy allergy. Please substitute items as needed.

Butter Beer Floats Ingredients
- Butter Pecan Ice Cream
- Cream Soda
- 1 Tablespoon butter extract
- 2 Teaspoons rum extract
- Mini cauldrons
Directions
Start by adding butter extract and rum extract to your cream soda. Flip a few times to mix thoroughly. Don’t shake.
Fill cauldrons 3/4 of the way with butter pecan ice cream.
Poor butterbeer over ice cream.
Serve and enjoy.

Butterbeer Marshmallow Fluff
This easy butterbeer marshmallow fluff is not allergy-friendly for a lot of allergies. Avoid this one or substitute items if needed.

Ingredients
- 1 – 7 oz container of marshmallow creme
- 1 tablespoon butter extract
- 2 teaspoons rum extract
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
Directions
Dump your marshmallow creme into a large bowl.
Add whipped cream, rum extract, and butter extract.
Mix well. It may lose a bit of its consistency. This is normal. It will be set up in the refrigerator.
Refrigerate for an hour and serve with pretzels or strawberries.

Goblin Gold Covered Oreos
Ingredients
- Oreos or gluten-free oreos
- Allergen-free chocolate chips or non-allergen-free almond bark (Choose both if you want to accommodate food allergies.)
- Gold Dusted Sprinkle Pack
- Kabob sticks
Directions

Start by putting your Oreos on a kabob. (They will not stay on kabobs. This will just make it easier to dip your Oreos.)
In a double boiler melt chocolate or almond bark. (If you are preparing with food allergies in mind, make sure to keep the two separate.)
Coat your Oreos in melted chocolate and almond bark to make your Harry Potter chocolate covered Oreos.
Remove them from the kabob sticks and lay on a sheet of parchment paper.
While still wet, sprinkle with gold dust.
Place in a freezer for ten minutes or in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Harry Potter Charcuterie Board
This Harry Potter Charcuterie Board was the perfect collection of Harry Potter Movie Night Snacks! We were able to enjoy a variety of the items made above and we were able to enjoy them all throughout a full movie binge. Even better, many of the items work well for those with food allergies. You can even make a board for allergies and a board for those without them.
Harry Potter Charcuterie Board Ingredients
- Goblin’s Gold Oreos
- Harry Potter Wand Fruit Kabobs
- Butterbeer Marshmallow Fluff
- Gluten-Free Pretzels (You can do regular if you don’t have food allergies.)
- Chocolate covered strawberries
- Cheese cubes
- Berries
- Reeses peanut butter cups
How to Make a Harry Potter Charcuterie Board



Start by adding marshmallow fluff to the small cauldron.
Surround the base of the cauldron with gold Oreos.
Add a layer of basic strawberries.



Next, you will add a few of your chocolate-covered strawberries.
Add a ring of raspberries.
Then lay your wands across the other side of your board.



Add another layer of gold Oreos to the right of the wands.
Then add a round of blueberries to your board.
After that, add your pretzels.


Next, you will add your cheese cubes.
Finish it out with Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Keep refrigerated until you serve.
