This weekend or family had the chance to head out to the Food and Wine festival at Disney’s Epcot! This festival is home to food, music, and so much more! This was my second time visiting this year and my first with the kids. I wanted to share the amazing experience with the kids now that they are more adventurous with food! Let me share some Food and Wine festival tops and information with you so you can make the most of your trip.
Food and Wine tips and tricks
We did receive four tickets to experience food and wine. However, all opinions are 100% our own.
**All diet specific information is pulled from the Epcot food guide and is not my personal opinion. Please always refer to the chefs in each location for further questions and safety information regarding your specific food needs.
I will not be sharing the alcoholic options here as our family does not drink for personal reasons. However, there is still so much to experience if you are not one to drink alcohol.
Epcot Food and Wine food booths
An event like food and wine may feel off-limits to you if you have food allergies but it doesn’t have to. Disney has a variety of menu options for multiple dining needs. However, it is important to point out that these booths could have a rush of cross-contamination. Depending on the severity of your food allergies, your options may be limited to table service options that can better career to your specific needs.

What are the serving sizes like at food and wine?
These are meant to be light bites instead of a full meal. Keep that in mind as you plan your day. With most items in the five to ten dollar range, it might be best to pick a few to try if you are hoping to fill up.
What were our favorites?

Lump Crab Cake – Coastal Eats
The lump crab cake was a big hit with the kids and my husband. My daughter is actually not a fan of seafood at all and she LOVED this!

Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup – Canada
The Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup in Canada was a fast hit with the kids and will be my husband’s absolute favorite! The portion size was larger and they said the pretzel roll was a perfect companion for this soup!
The Impossible Cottage Pie was my favorite! It was so packed with flavor and free of allergens that would otherwise mean I couldn’t eat it. I loved that it was so packed with flavor and it was a decent portion size as well. I was full afterwards for sure!

Food and Wine Festival Mom Disclaimer
I strongly recommend either avoiding the weekends or leaving before it gets later in the night. As people get more intoxicated, the park has a very different feel and definitely isn’t kid-friendly. During our time there during the evening, we saw a lot that should not have been happening and people were behaving very inappropriately.
Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party
This is an option you will need to book well in advance and you will be paying extra for. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party is held certain nights. Prices are $79 for an adult (ages 10 and up) and $47 per child (ages 3 to 9), including tax and gratuity.
With the dessert party, you will get access to a plethora of delicious desserts and a special viewing location for the fireworks show! It’s definitely not to be missed if you want a relaxing way to enjoy treats and the fireworks without worrying about the crowds.

Allergy Friendly Treats at Dessert Party
What if you have food allergies at the dessert party?
Speak to the chef and they will bring you out a selection of treats and drinks that you can enjoy alongside friends and family.

Chocolate Cherry Allergy Friendly Cake
The chocolate cherry cake has a very strong cherry flavor and it is a bit dryer but it does have good flavor and will satisfy your chocolate craving for sure!

Tropical Tapioca
I’ll be honest. I did not like this even a little. I’m not sure if it was a texture issue? I just didn’t love it at all.
The Key Lime Blueberry dessert was AMAZING! Seriously, the flavors were perfection and I absolutely loved it! It was a welcome treat!
