Does Netflix Have Doctor Who?

Over the last few years Doctor Who fans have had to try a little harder to get their fix. Netflix streaming lost the rights to Doctor Who and they were given to Amazon Prime. Many loyal Netflix fans were disappointed to see Doctor Who leave their favorite platform and refused to pay for Prime. While I am a huge fan of Amazon Prime, I understand why they were upset! That said, I have some really great news for you. Netflix has Doctor Who!

Does Netflix Have Doctor Who?

Ok, so let me clarify. Netflix has Doctor Who in the U.S. but it isn’t the way you are thinking they do. Netflix streaming is still void of the beauty that is Doctor Who. This past weekend I sat down with a representative from Netflix and we had a great chance to chat about Netflix Streaming’s older sister who is still around and going strong. That’s right, Netflix still ships DVD’s!!!

As we sat and talked about the fact that Netflix still ships DVDs I was challenged to name my favorite movie or show. Naturally, I chose Doctor Who. Guess what. Netflix DVD has Doctor Who and they have a lot! It really surprised me just how much they have and how much they are still getting of many different DVDs.

My first search was for New Who. Guess what, that’s all 13 seasons ready to be rented from Netflix! If you are not interested in Amazon Prime or don’t have the ability to stream this may be just what you are looking for.

Netflix DVD has Classic Doctor Who

I wanted to see if I could stump her so I asked her to go looking for Classic Who. I was so thrilled to see that there were tons of options out there for Classic Who as well! I know I am looking forward to finally watching all of the great Classic Who episodes I didn’t get to watch when they pulled them from Netflix Streaming.
