We did receive tickets for the family to the Caribbean Carnaval at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort to facilitate this post. However, all opinions are 100% our own and were not influenced by the tickets we were provided.
Last week our family had the opportunity to spend some time at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort. As part of our partnership with Loews Hotels we were offered tickets to the Caribbean Carnaval at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort across the street from Cabana Bay Beach Resort. We were so excited to try out this new show. However, when we spent some time researching it beforehand we didn’t find many answers. I want to share some of the answers to questions we had before visiting.
Caribbean Carnaval at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort
This will be based on our experience with the Caribbean Carnaval Dinner Show at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. You may have a different experience depending on the night you attend. However, we wanted to share more with you to help you better enjoy your visit to the show.
Caribbean Carnaval Food Options
Caribbean Carnaval Kids Table
There is a kid-friendly food table. They will be able to eat off of the cutest fish plates and pick food items that are friendly to a more sensitive palate. Kids can still eat from the adult table. However, this is a great option if you have a child that is pickier. Children have the freedom to eat as much as they want from this table.
Adults are also free to pick items from this table if they want them. Because of my food allergies, the fruit was a welcome option.

Caribbean Carnaval Dinner Show
While you eat you will be entertained by some beautiful drums. I will warn you that it is quite loud. Do not expect to hold a conversation over the music in the meal portion of your night. We had to text each other from right next to each other.
During the show, there will be a variety of different styles of music as you work your way thru the different islands. There’s also a team of dancers who will come out for each set wearing something different to fit the theme of that part of the show.
Expect some great break dancing from the male lead. He does a fantastic job and definitely keeps the interest of kids who may not have an interest in the music.
Be prepared. If you decide to conga, you will soon be doing the limbo. Another warning, you will probably have fun doing it.
At the end of the show, be ready to get on your feet and dance. You are sure to enjoy the fun of dancing with some of the performers at the end of the show and laughing together.
At the end of the night, get your phone out and get a photo with the cast and even a fun video. Then make sure to share it all over social media!

Is it worth the money?
I will say that there are a many different dinner shows in the Orlando area. While I think this was a fun show and definitely works as a lead in to Mardi Gras at Universal I question the price tag.
It is buffet style which does work toward the benefit of the price tag. I think that if you plan to eat more than one plate, have one of the free alcoholic beverages, and genuinely engage with the show, it is worth it.
If not, you may leave wishing you spent your money elsewhere.
Getting to the dinner show from Cabana Bay Beach Resort
You will be able to walk across the street for this show. However, there is no crosswalk at that light. You will need to go to the left and go to the crosswalk a bit further up to cross the street safely.
