We were invited to Busch Gardens to cover for Coupon Mamacita. We received 3 tickets and our dinner. However, all opinions are 100% my own and were not influenced by the tickets or dinner.
It has been a little while since our family has been to Busch Gardens in Tampa. When my friend Myrah asked me to cover an event for her there we were beyond excited. We wondered what was in Busch Gardens Christmas Town for kids. I am going to share some of what we experienced. I will also give you some tips and tricks to make the most of your visit.

Busch Gardens Christmas Town for Kids
Please note that my children are a bit older. At 9 and 12 their experiences may be different than what you may have with a preschooler or a teen.

Character Meet and Greets
The event has multiple meet and greets you don’t want to miss out on. You can meet Rudolph, The Poinsettia Princess, all your favorite Sesame Street characters, a Snowman, and so much more! Check your park map to see where and when to meet each of these characters.

Animals
Make sure to take time to see some of your favorite animals. Know that after the sun goes down you may not be able to see some of the animals. See the animals you can’t afford to miss before the sun goes down.

Fun Photo Spots
Throughout the entire park, you will find fun photo spots to capture a special picture that is sure to be a treasure after your trip.

Spend some time with Santa
You can put your name down and meet with Santa at his house near the train station and the penguins. He starts meeting with children at 3 PM.

Enjoy the lights
There are beautiful lights all over the park you won’t want to miss out on. Whether you walk through a tunnel of light or enjoy the Christmas trees along the path, you are sure to find beautiful lights the kids will find magical.

See a show
There are multiple holiday and non-holiday themed shows. Know that some will have longer waits than others. If there is something you really want to see, ask a staff member how far in advance you need to get in line for seats.

See the trains
There are some beautiful miniature trains you can look at. The kids can play with them but it is a great place to take a break for a moment knowing the kids are enjoying the look of it.

Enjoy delicious food
There are some great food options at the event. I recommend trying out the chicken and waffle sandwich! Food prices range from $3.99 to $8.99 in the stands and higher at sit down locations.
